"Dear me!" said Susie's mother, "but
The flies are bad to. day !
Go get some sticky flypaper,
- And hurry on the way!"

Away ran Susie to the store;
' Some flypaper she got.
Said she, 'We'll soon have no more flics
They gave me such a lot"
Soon Snicks and Snooks came strolling by
Such naughty boys they were!
They grabbed the paper from Sue's hands
And ran away from her.
Now, let us havesome f un;j saioTBnooks.
"Let's put some on this seat."
All right," said Snicks; "I'll spread it c?ut
; And make it look quite neat."

Then two old gossips happened by,
And, unsuspecting, sat .
Down cn the bench. Snooks softly, laughed
"What do you think of that?"
Alas! when those two dames got up
Their clothes were ruined tjuite!.' .
Cried they, "Who fever did this deed?9
