XL R. Powell, the former Oregon Ag

Multnomah. Powell's best mark is

Oregon Agricultural college next year,

William Schmltt, who managed the

Thirty victories, four defeats and
four tie games is the record estab
lished by tho St James Athletio club
football teams sine the club was or
ganised In 1908. During the 1910 sea
son not a single point was scored
against tho Vancouver, Wash., team.
During tho first two seasons tho St.
James players were coached by
"Plnkey" Reese. In 1910 Dudley
Clarke, tho Multnomah star, helped
tutor the team, and in 1911 "Chuck"
Taylor was at the head of tho team.
F. Altdoeffer has been coach of the
team for the past two seasons.
Muoh credit for tho team's success
during the five seasons It has been in
the field is due W. Morlarity, who was
manager in 1908, 1912 and 1913.
