Conditions in the sheen trade were

ceiving recently.
There was a very liberal offering In
the mutton yards for the day, totals
being 1678 head, compared with 820
last Thursday, 136 a year ago and 1093
head for this day two years ago.
Sheep trade was generally of good

over yesterday, with top lambs at $7.20;

Chicago sheep trade was steady with
26,000 head reported In this morning.

Hob- prices were generally firmer and
higher for the day at points east of the
Rockies, but South Omaha waa an eoc
centlon and Is bavins a direct effect
upon the trade here. Bales made there
this morning were generally at a decline
of 6c, with tops at $7.90. Run for the
dav was 10,800 head.
Kansas City hog trade was a dime

morning.

with a run of 8000 head.

er, with an advance of 10c for medium

the steer division.

Much weakness was forced in foreign
wheat markets for tha day, the decline

Considerable strength Is shown In the
blOs for oats In the local trade. Buy
