' The wheat market situation hers ts
a puuls even to the leaders of the trade.
Notwithstanding tha hlr advances shown
on the European ponunent today, the
cargo market here does not reflect any
change of moment in sentiment.
Bide for club wheat ranee from 77 O
78q bushel, tidewater track basis. Some
sav that tha low nrlca is full high con-
sldernlg the cargo market, while others
are willing to take on wheat at ths high
er ma. jiiuestem mas range xrom svw
8io a bushel, same basts. -
Tha wheat trada -here at the moment
is mors the matter of personal -needs
than outside conditions. Those that
have shipments to make and need a lit
tle more grain are willing to pay a cent
more than the other fellows say the
market will Justify. However, when
the European strength becomes more
apparent It Is likely to have a direct
effect upon the trade hare.
There is a firmer tone in the oats
trade and some interests are today bid
ding an advance of 50a a: ton over pre
vious prices,
There is not a sufficient amount of
feed barley available at this time .to
interest the trade much. The small
holdings of brewing are held for suoh
high prices by produoers that buyers
are- out of the market. r---
Fi-ed barley Is steady at ths prices
quoted. , ' '
The hay situation continues to refleot
strength In both the city and country.
Prices are unchanged.
Rursla was the only bearish feature
In the world's wheat trade for the day.
Free offerings by that country were re
epowslble for-a fractional Joss at -the
opening of the Liverpool market. Paris,
however, reflected nothing but strength,
end the greatest advance of the season
was forced at Berlin.
