lace that form the high crown. Silk quillings hold in the .eenter of
the lace frills, and a cluster of roses at each side continues the pink
color scheme to a delightful end The edge of the brim is trimmed with

Irish lace forms the crown and part of the brim of a handsome mode
with a front trimming. The edge of the brim is of chiffon, and a quilling
of the latter is used to define the irregular line of the overlapped laoe.
Roses and wheat in an upstanding bunch are held in place under black
velvet ribbon. " "
AUover, Valenciennes lace is combined with pink roses and white)
plumes in a hat with an upturned brim. The lace is applied plain over
pale-blue xnousseline. A pale-blue silk, puffing trims the edge of the
