Values In the hog market were gen
erally maintained today. Only a small
run was shown and some of these came
aa a direct purchase from the country
to a local meat company, which has its
buyers out through the valley.
There was a change of sentiment in
the ling trade east of the Rockies' to
day. Chicago showed strength after an
early loss and closed at an advance of
60 over yesterday. Run for the day there
was 21,000 head, compared with 14,000
head a year ago.
Kansas City hog market waa 6 to lOo
better than yesterday with a run of
8000 head.
South Omaha hogs were 10c higher
with tops going this morning at $7.70.
Run for the day was 9500 head.

Shedd, one load hogs and sheep; Hugh
