are staggering has passed during the
year, of 1910:. It Is i roughly estimated
that the combined agricultural, mining
and commercial wealth produced during
the past year In the region embracing
eastern f Washington, northern Idaho,
northeastern' Oregom western Montana
and south British Columbia has reached
the gross total of more, than 11 87,ooo,
000 as against 8188,000,000 for last
ear. Agricultural -. comes first, the
product of farms of the Inland Empire
being worth close to 8135,000,000 . ' as
against about. $127,000,000 . last year.
The wheat crop this year fell off con
siderably owing to a dry summer While
In all other branches of farm Industries
material gains ware mads. Poultry and
live stock Is estimated to have reached
$16,000,000 last year and $18,000,000 this
year. Fruits are valued at $20,000,000
this year as against $19,850,000 a year
ago. Dairy products amount to about
$9,000,000, $1,000,000 more than last
year and other various farm product!
Increased the. wealth of this region by
$2,2(0,000 oyer last year when the total
cam to about $18,250,000.-
Capital invested, output of products
and wages paid laboring men In this ter

the disappearance of th old miner.
Gianoli s arrest was th culmination t
of a five days' secret investigation by
Sheriff Donahue and Bheriff-elect
Byrnes.;; Cooper was last seen Novem
ber 5 in company with Gianoli, When
the two started for Glanoli's cabin, 20
miles from her on th Torkvyu road.

over what the authorities allege Is a
murder and searchers today ar going
over th mountains near Glanoli's cabin
In an effort to .locate some bit of evl-
denc that will serve positively to iden
tify the bones as those of Cooper.. Th
bones, which do not make a oomplete

skull is missing, rendering identification
difficult ,

ing claims. They war supposed to b
on friendly terms. Cooper was unmar
ried. Whan last seen he had 818 In hi
pockets. The sack of bone was found
under a brush pile a short distance from
Glatioli'S cabin.
