to play an exhibition . game - with
Spokane next Monday- afternoon, the
proposed test of strength . of the two
leagues Is off. Opposition of an In
formal 'nature was expressed against
the proposed' game at the special meet

day, and the McCredies will abide by
the wishes of the league directors. . The
race is too close at this point to permit
of exhibition games, the directors hold.

a match, for the world's heavyweight
