sermon. Mr. Olstedt was born at So
dermondland, Sweden, March 10, 1835.
He served In th Swedish army for 28
year under King ; Carl XVI and as
bodyguard for King Oscar II up to the
time he left Sweden to come to the
United States, about 28 : years ago.
After living In Minnesota, North Dakota
and Oregon for a' period of time, he
finally settled near La Center, Clark
county. Washington, where he haa been
continuously for th past 18 year. Mr.
Olstedt was 78 years of age and 1 sur
vived by his wife, three sons, Carl, Otto
and Oscar, and a daughter,' who lives
