Another high record has been reached
in tha local hog market. Hogs sold
during the past 24 ours as high aa
$8.86 or lOo above any previous figures
reached here during the present move
ment. The sale was- made on contract,
however, and at a time when there was
an extreme scarcity. Therefore the gen.
eral market for good stuff does not
reach above $8.76. "This is where I
should put the present market," says
Frank C. Sharkey, , who made the rec
ord transaction. - .
