The association also passed a reso

the recent order from Washington or
dering a reopening of the case of Lieu
tenant James N. Sutton of the United

Charles A. Doyen, commandant of the
barracks here, recounted the circum
stances as he recalled them. '--
Doyen was one of the first of the su
perior officers of the barracks to reach
Button's side. He said the shooting
followed a quarrel and that other offi
cers who were with 'Sutton explained
the circumstances to him, -which he re
lated as follows:
"As Lieutenant Osterman turned away
Lieutenant Sutton struck him on the
aide of tho head with his fist. -
"As a blow had now oassed. Iiteuten.
ant Utley, who. had stopped them be

Ortetman and Sutton stripped to their

road with several others and fired.

ness here Is accredited. M. J. Geary of
Little. Rock, Ark., has been appointed
head of the passenger department and
