Th. Death Of Captain X Norman Har
vey of 181T East Twelfth street came as
a great surprise to ali bis friends in
this city. He- was born In Edinbor
ouarh, Scotland, April 26. 1838, and im
migrated to thla country when very
young. He , came to Oregon in 1895
where he settled down and made many
friends. He Is an old sea captain and
' Just recently settled down. He la sur
vived by a, widow and a brother, Dr.
Elden Harvey of this city, and a sts
ter whose whereabouts Is unknown. .

granted, a deputy by the hoard and the
