The speaker said he had no knowledge
that such a report was to be submitted
and that there was such a clamor for
recognition that no other result could
have been had. The minority report,
by a vote of 58 Republicans to B0 Demo
crats, was put over until next Thurs
day afternoon, when It will come up
as a special order.-
