reservation line between Bonanza and
Ely, the Eastern Timber company has
taken its cruisers off and Is returning
the option contracts. The options were
secured by Albert Walker and were only
for 60 days. It Is believed that the

ness of the season and the Impossibility
of making a cruise before the winter
snows set in, decided to withdraw from
the field until next year.
Close to 40,000 acres were secured on
option at an average price of $1.35 a
thousand. It Is stated that there Is
double this amount of timber oWned
by individuals' which can be bought in

a rush for some dearly beloved and de

opened for the Nordlca concert seat sale

event can hope to approach her concert

Nordlca, who is an American, has the
American sense of Independence and lib

large cities en tour she goes quietly out
and seeks out the shops and spends a
good round sum in each place. Gen
erally she Is Immediately recognized by
the clerks, but this makes no difference
in her sweet and kindly manner. She
Is by all odds the most considerate and
broad minded of the great artists, and
besides that she is generous and
thoughtful to every one with whom she
comes in contact. The concert Thurs
