Rudolph A. Marshall gave a reception
and dance In honor of their daughter,
Miss Vivian Marshall, and their son
and his bride, Mr, and Mrs. Clifford
Fleming Marshall. In the receiving
line with the host and hostess and the
guests of honor, were Mr. and Mrs,
Frank Wood, parents of the bride. Mrs.
Rudolph A. Marshall was handsomely
gowned in lilac mesaalne with trim
mings of rich lace and tucked net,
made en trains: Mrs. Clifford Marshall
wore her wedding gown ef white mes
caline adorned with rare old lace; Miss
Marshall wore a dainty white lingerie
frock over pink silk with long sashes
of pink satfn; Mrs. Frank Wood wore
a rich apricot-colored messaline gown,
on trains.

Elmer Young and Cyrus Woodworth re

oyster supper had been provided for
them by Mrs, L. O. Ralston. Speeches
were made by J. K. GUI, W. M. Wilder,
G. H. Street and othe member of the
chorus. This was the first of several
entertalnmenta which are projected for
this organisation during the coming
winter. The chorus Is now larger than
ever before. The chorus will soon give
a unique musical service which will
consist of hymns of the Southland,
which will represent old plantation
melodies and will be of unusual Impor
tance to all who have an interest in
the hymns of the colored people.''.

Woodcraft, and the guards of this
circle have decided to entertain their

dred club met October 28, at the home
