Portland Union Stockyards. Nor. 10.
The run or cattle is racing orr again,
today's total arrivals In the stockyards
reaching but 40 head, v Cattlemen have
evidently eometo the conclusion that It
would pay them better to keep their
supplies off the market when they are
not wanted ana snip mem wnen a o
rnand appears.' The trouble with" the
cattle market of late has been the fact
that shippers sent In supplies when
they were not needed and on this ac
count prices were dragged lower than
would have been the case If snippers
had not compelled killers to take the
offerings.
Sheep Scarcity Is Fronounoed.
No arrivals of shet-D have been noted
In the Portland yards since last Thurs
day. The market is mererore very puu.
The wants of the larger killers are still
being supplied out of their own aurplus
purchases made some weeks ago on the
ruTtre nl until these suoDlles are ex
hauated there will be little call for sheep
from the big onea
Hog arrivals have fallen back Into
their ordinary rut and this haa been a
slight help to the market During the

as $10. but general transactions were

Chicago, Nov. 10. With a better tone
ruling in all foreign wheat markets and
a starting of export business here
again, the local wheat market opened
Tirmer and higher. At the start Liver
pool was d to Hd higher ' hut the
closing was 4d above yesterday for
the three options,
Chicago wheat started d to d
above yesterday with May at 106,
December 101 and July 100. At
the close the market was lo to fKic
above yesterday's final; the greatest
advance being in the May.
mis is the nrsf time during tne
present option that the May delivery
has made a deliberate get-away from
the other options. The reports of a
general lack of moisture in the Ameri
n grain belts east -of the Rockies. Is
what caused the Mav to lumn so to
day, for whenever the damage news is
practically proven the greatest adyance
s generally noted m tne May deliv
ery. This is one of the easiest months
for "corners" to be attempted In and
there was a suspicion In today's trad
ing that some big operator was going to
take the bull side and attempt to force
the May higher. -

So rich' in gold is our property that we
have in part selected the name from the
place where it is lpcated,
GOLD BEACH
Gold Beach Dredging Co,
A suggestive name that is founded on fact
All of our property is proven ground,
and it runs from $1.00 to $100.00 per
cubic yard, and much of it yields $45.00
per cubic yard. ' Furthermore, our prop
erty holdings include the famous Bessie
Minethat has yielded the millions of
yellow metal, and has millions more to
yield. -': . ' . -
Think of it 900 acres of gold-bearing
.ground carrying from $1.00 to $lQ0.OO
per square yard, and running from the
surface to a ' depth of more than 120
feet. The surface square yards would
amount to 4,356,000, and when you mul
tiply that by 120 feet, the depth, you will
begin to understand the true value of
our wonderful property. V
The gold dredger is subject to no law
of change except that of the cost of the
necessaries of life and the price of labor.
His success is already laid. Nature's
concentrator, the elements, has carried
down into the basins or lower ground
the glittering flakes and nuggets of gold
which is his harvest. We have proven
beyond any manner of doubt that every
cubic yard of sand and gravel'is full of
the yellow dollars; 1
We propose to place this stock amemg
the common .people, and the square deal
is the basis of, all our transactions with
them. No officer of the company is to
draw any salary until the enterprise is
on an earning basis. There is no pre
ferred stock and no bonds; all shares are

Functional weakness - In men !
In reality a comparatively simple
ailment, and is but a symptom of
local disorder, a state of ehronlo
Inflammation of the prostate gland.
Ne stimulating treatment, whether
Internal or locally applied, can do
more than excite temporary activ
ity. By my system of local treat
ment I v restore absolutely normal
conditions throughout the organs
Involved, which promptly results
In complete and permanent restor
ation of strength and vigor. This
treatment Is original with me,-and
Is the only radical and certain cure
yet devised.- ,
