To ask the court for an injunction re.
straining the Barbers' union from in.
terfering with his trade is th cause
of action which brought tho attorneys
of William O. Jones, owner of two non
union barber shops. Into the circuit
court this afternoon.
According to Attorney W. C. Bristol,
associate counsel for Jones, the purpose
of a complaint filed this morning IS to
explain to the courts the manner In
which local union No. 76. Journeymen
Barbers, have for some, months past
been boycotting Jones' two places of
business.
Members of the union have stood in
front of the shoos, one of Which la lo

London, Oct. 17. War in the Balkan

It is feit that th lack of restraint'

The qlg power are willing to await the

BULGARIA WILL PAY
OXLY FOR RAILROAD
Sofia, Oct. 17. According o advisers
of Csar Ferdinand, the Bulgarian cab
inet Is considering th draft of a Jioto .
to th powers decllnglng to accept in
dependence from Turkey on condition
of payment of an Indemnity. It Is In
timated that the purchase of ownership
rights In the Oriental railroad, of which,
at present, Bulgaria is largely In con
trol, is the only question tnat Bulgaria
would be willing to have discussed it
the conference. , r
Although It Is deemed that the pay
ment of indemnity would degrade the
nation. Bulgaria Is making no further
move toward th mobilisation of trooDS.
The army practically comprises the en
tire population, aa military service is
compulsory, whereas the Turkish troops
are in the poorest condition they have
been at any time during the last Quar
ter century.
It is represented that Turkey would
In no way be impoverlelied by the fail
ure to receive the .Rumelian tribute,
as money now paid goes directly into tha
coffers of Turkey' creditors.
