EATEST NEWS NO. 4
' Kindly follow us from time to time, as we publish reports from our en
gineer, Mr. II. D. Williams, M. E., direct from their only true source unvar
1 nished and without preparation for publication. Our engineer, deals in facts
rather than fiction he knows only what heees and can prove,: and that is
what he reports in his own language, as follows: r f : ' I
DelatQ, Idaho, 0ot.' 10, 1908,
"The Potioie Mining Company, Portland, Ore. . . . -
' Gentlemen: I am getting the rnapa and other things , , ,
. together just aa fast as possible; but there nas been lots
' of little details at the mine that had to be adjusted, so '
, matters will go ahead as they should on Tunnel No. 1.
Our new steel is here and we are getting it out up, so '
as to avoid a shortage and delays in the work. We laid 17
ft. of new Vail today.
' 11 1 think No., 5 would bb the best place for &fessrs.
Wood & Hayw'orth to lease, as there haa been more work done 1
there and is a better showing, as there is already ore to
work on. the entire length of the tunnel, 140 ft. They
have. already done some s toping: up about 8 ft. and the
stops is about 40 ft. long. The pay streak shows from
8 to' 14 in., and is continuous to where she is faulted
against the porphyry dyke on the north side. This vein
is nearly flat and in the Prit chard slate. This is the
same vein on which are located the Yosemite, Daddy, Mother '
Lode, Treasure Box and Oooident mines, 2 1-2 miles to the
east a,t Littlefield. This ore shows free gold in. spots,
some places quite rich,-with occasional variable propor-'
tions of pyrite, chaloopyrite, galena and sphalerite.
Some ore on the Buckeye Boy, on this vein, runs, as high
as 120.5 oz. of gold and 28 oz. silver, but the usual class of
ore runs from ten to twenty-five dollars in gold. This mine
lays two miles north of us. - A single pocket of ore produced
$25,000.00, the ore being crushed by hand in mortars.
"I am sending you a few prints that we have made and
have some more under way. Yours sincerely,
H. D. WILLIAMS, M. E.
We are receiving congratulations on every hand for the publication of "Lat
est News." . The public appreciates this kind of information, because they know
it is simply facts as they exist, and as seen by an engineer whose 18 or 20 years'
practical experience qualify him to' prove each fact. He puts in 8 or 10 hours each
day on the ground, and is .thoroughly familiar with conditions he sees, he proves
and then he knows it.
Our stock is fully paid and non-assessable. We are selling 50,000 shares at
25 cents per share for development and improvement of our properties, consisting
of ,11 full claims in the Coeur d'Alene Mining District. We have the ore, and
are now going after it.
Don't lose sight of this property $5.00 CASH AND $5.00 MONTHLY
WILL BUY TWO HUNDRED SHARES.. The same ratio of payments will
buy a larger number of shares. Write for application blank.
