BABY HOME TAGS
A tag day Is planned for the Baby
home, which it is hoped will be will
ingly taken up by the general public
and will result In a good sum being
realized for the Institution.
Where this plan has been tried In
other cities it has been found a suc
cess. The tags are made to resemble
a baggage check or express tag and are
sold for a trifling sum. It gives every
body a chance t contribute his mite
to a good cause and taxes no one great
ly. In Los Anareles a tag day was ar
ranged recently for the charities of
that city, and everybody from express
man to autolst wore from one to ten
tags. The day was mada a gala- oc
casion and every one took part. In
one day $6,000 was raised for their
charities.
The Baby home Is In need of funds
to meet street Improvement assess
ments, and It Is hoped this plan will
result In their meeting this indebtedness.
