M. J. Kinney, sued some time ago by
the Merchants National bank to collect
a loan of something like $4,000, has
filed his answer to the complaint in

led ud to the suit are broujrht out. Mr.
Kinney says that first he borrowed 840.-
000 and that he was compelled to sign

lateral.' Afterward Kinney borrowed

asks for Judgment against the bank for
