proved positively that Colonel Stewart's

Stewart was unable to stand the 90-mlle
teat ride, the decision of the board will

to his general health record.

All recent attempts to get out sumptu

land and Oregon have been outdone by
the latest book of the Soo line and Can
adian Pacific, "By Way ot the Canons,"
being the illustrated account of a trip
between the Twin Cities and Portland,
via the Kllarney lakes.
The cover of the book Itself Is a color
photogravure of one of the Selkirk can
ons, and Is of unusual beauty, while the
back, or the book, also in colors, is a
magnificent cluster of Hood River pur
