The high barometer area continues
- over the north Pacific coast, but a
moderate low pressure area has de
veloped over northern Utah, southeast
ern Idaho and Wyoming. The marked
low barometer area that was over Sas
katchewan Tuesday morning is now over
Lake. Superior, with greatly diminished
Intensity, Light showers have oc
curred In sections of the British north
"West and in southern California, and
'rain ' has been general along the Mis--sissippi
river, the western portion of
tha Great Lakes and in Oklahoma. It
,ds cooler this moi'ning from Oregon and
Washington eastward. 'to the lake re-
glon, and slightly warmer In California,
Nevada, Utah and Arizona. Light frost
is reported from .northern Arizona and
western Montana.
The indications are for showers to
