ath , Falls, tha latter taking charge of
the plant yesterday. Mr. Waahburne
haa conducted trie mill for the past eight
ears. It was built in l5t by tciias and

which might have been wrecked at
Xotnt Arena last night, and there is
till great doubt aa to the identity of the
ship which went aground. The Willapa
from Grays Harbor, loaded with lumber
for San Pedro, where she is due today,
has not. been reported. Tbe other two
re the Vanguard and the Northforlt,
both from San Francisco and both due
at Eureka- today. - The NorthJork car
ried explosives. The fact that the ,
wrecked ahlp mast have carried lumber ,
apparently -eliminates tbe northbound
