Mr. Matlock Is enthusiastic over the
outlook for the coming fair, which will
open on Bepternber 14 and continue tin- I
til and Including September la. There
seoms to Do no wean spots in any or
the departments this season. The great
est problem for the management has
been to find exhibition apace for a
proper display.
The fair Is distinctly an agricultural
exposition, tho premiums being widely
j distributed on livestock, agricultural
and manuracturea products. vast
amounts have been expended by pro
greastvo farmers and livestock grow
ers In tho last tlve years In the im
provement, of their herds, and the in
hibits are being correspondingly Un
proved. An Invitation la extended to
all to camp on tho grounds during tho
fair, where there Is a fine plot of
ground with shade, an excellent supply
of wutor, and free use of camping sit
with stalls and shelter for horses.
The grandstand has been remodeled
and Its capacity nearly doubled. Thero
will be no liquor selling on "the grounds
and pool selling Is prohibited. Improve
ments have been made In the race
course and specialties will be provided
j between heats to amuse the bt" crowds.
