Thomas Perkins, thus violating the
minor ordinance, was fined $10 In the
municipal court today. Like one other
broker he had not kept his books ac
cording to the law, which specifies that

court this morning for cruelty to ani
mals. One of Howard's drivers was ar
rested for driving a horse with a sore
shoulder, but when it was shown that
