WEATHER REPORT
The barometer continues relatively
low on the Pacific slope, and a shallow
trough of low pressure extends east
from southern California to Texas, and
thence northeast to the lake region. The i
Alberta high pressure area has advanced
southeast to the Dakotas, Its progress
eastward has been attended by unusu
ally low temperatures, and a light frost
was reported this morning in northern
North Dakota. It is warmer In the mid
dle Atlantic and New England states,
while in the north Pacific states the
temperatures as a rule are sllghlly
above normal. Showers have occurred
at scattered places in extreme" eastern
Orerfon and Idaho, and local rains, heavy
