The barometer continues relatively
low over the lnter-mountain states, ana
showers and thunderstorms have oc
curred In Oregon, Washington, Idaho,
Nevada, Utah, Arir-ona, New Mexico, and
Texas. A small disturbance Is passing
to sea off the New England coast: It
has caused showers In the lake region,
middle Atlantic, ''and- New Bngjancl
otatea, and local rains have fallen In
Missouri and In the south Atlantic
states. The pressure la Increasing over
. Western Oregon and western Washing
ton, and a small high pressure area is
central over North Dakota. The barom
eter oontinues relatively high over the
gulf states. It Is much cooler In Ore
gon, Washington. Utah and the greater
portion of Idaho. High temperature
continues in the eastern states.
The indications are for showers to
night or Wednesday In northern Ore-
?on. Washing-ton and Idaho, and for
air weather in .southern Oregon. It
