Grants Pass, Or., June 29. Much com

Rogue River fishing to the effect that
salmon are not ascending the main river
to their spawning grounds, but are turn
ing Into the Irrigation and mining
The warden for this district states that
it is Impossible for him to cover the
big territory assigned him, and that he
s una me. to enforce the law regarding
the screening of these ditches. The min
ers and ranchers claim that It Is Im
possible for them to screen their ditches;
that if they did so the floating leaves
and debris would soon choke them.
Consequently a great majority of the
ditches are unscreened, and the big sal
mon ascend them to soon find them
selves floundering In alfalfa fields or
being forcibly ejected from a placer
monitor. Placer miners claim that It
is no unusual thing for a 15 or 20-pound

killed in the sluices.
Fish Warden Wilson of the southern

the fish ladders In good shape, though
it la apparent that the fish ascending

than In former seasons. The hatc.harv

MEN cured;
No other physician em ploys a like method,
and so thorough Is my work that there need
not be the slightest fear of a relapse Into
the old condition. It Is not a question of
whether you can be cured, but whether you
will be cured. Don't wait until It is too late.
My method is perfect and quick. The cure is
absolutely certain. , I use NO KNIFE, cause
no pain, and you need not be detained from
.your work for one day. I especially solicit
those cases where many so-called treatments
have failed or where money has been wasted
on electric belts and other appliances. Func
tional derangement Is neither a "weakness"
nor a disease. It la a symptom ef prostatlo
disorder. To stimulate activity by the uae
of powerful tonics la an easy matter, but
such results are merely temporary drug ef
fects. Most doctors, treat "weakness" In thle
manner because they do not know how to
cure tbe real cause of the derangement. I am
the only physician employing scientific and successful methods. My
treatment Is a local one entirely and corrects every abnormal condition
of that vital center, the prostate gland. My cures are real cures and

Women Line Up at Early
Dawn for the Trial of
Prince Eulenberg.'
(Unite "teas teased Wire.)
Berlin, June 29. Hundreds of scandal-hungry
women were turned away
from the central criminal court today
when tne case of Prince Philip Eulen
horg, waa called for trial. Loath to miss
the gossip to be gathered In the court
room, tne women raised a disturbance
tnd In some Instances court attendants
lound It necessary to forcibly eject
beautifully gowned, but Ill-mannered 1m
portunera. Prince Philip Is accused by Editor
Maxlmllllan Harden of participating lu
the sensational escapades alleged to
have been conducted ' by Kaiser WU
helm's "knights of the round table." -
The sensation created by the trial of
the prince is even greater than that
which attended the arrest and trial of
Count Von Moltke, who, although one
of tbe most prominent members of Ger
man nobility, is outranked by the pris
oners at the dock today.
With the first gleam of dawn, the
morbidly curious began to aasembls at
the door of the criminal courts building.
By the time the cass was called for
trial thousands of persons had formed a
mob of immense proportions in the
yard. As Prince Philip drove to the
courtroom In a closed carriage a mighty
cheer arose from the ranks of bis admir
ers, in the midst of whloh a menacing
hiss could be heard.
Prince Philip has not been a favorite
of the masses and but a word would
have been needed to start a serious dem
onstration. Count Carolath has been commis
sioned by the kaiser to report the trial
for him, and news of the day's proceed
ings is eagerly awaited at the palace,
where the accused prince has been a
favorite.

Upon the arrival of Prince Philip a
conference was held between the court
and counsel and it was decided that
the trial should be held behind closed
doors. Immediately the courtroom was
cleared of all spectators.
jrrince ftuiip, wno, owing to nis re
cent Illness, was allowed to recline in
a chair In the center of the courtroom,
arose upon hearing the announcement
that no women would be allowed to at
tend the trial, and escorted his beauti
ful wife and two sons to their car
riage. There were tears In the eyes
of the princess when she parted from
her husband.
A mass of testimony will be Intro
duced by the prosecution. Eulenburg's
aerense will cover a period or several
days and It is expected that the trial
will last at least two weeks.
