shots representing the militia of n
number of states as well as all branches
of the United States military service,
gathered on the Camp Verry ranges
today to contest for places on the
rifle team to be sent to England to
represent the United States In the In
ternational rifle matches of the Olym
pic games. The trial competitions are
under the direction of the National Rifle
association of America. The trials are
to continue four days and on each day
tha contestants are to shoot through
tha Olympic match course, consisting
of two sighting shots and 15 shots for
record at 200, 600, 600, 800, 000 and
1,000 yards, or 102 shots each day.
