A little table salt dropped in a glass of
beer will descend to the bottom. Little
bubbles begin to rise to the surface,
growing in number and ascending rap
idly. Diffusing over the surface of the
beer, they form a cireany, amber-colored
bead. Lots and lots of people use salt
Jn their beer, but few of them know
why. - A chemical action takes place, in
which the molecules are broken, allow
ing the gas to escape. Beer, with a lit
tle salt, reduces the tendency to bilious
ness. . ,
Pale Bohemian
Beer
However, has less biliousness in it than
most other beers. It is, therefore, more
healthy to drink and safer for those who
are convalescent and inclined to sickness. Many physicians prescribe
PALE BOHEMIAN for their patients as a tonic. ,
' We recommend-that salt be not used in PALE BOHEMIAN, as
the aeration has given just the sufficient touch.
