The high area overlying the Paclfio
coast is drifting lowly northward and
is now central over western Washing
ton, Cloudy akle continue over west
ern Oregon and western- Washington,
but no appreciable amount of rain fell
during the last twelve hours at any sta
tion excepting Portland. East of -t the
Cascade mountain fair .-weather, pre
vail this morning, though light rain
fell at Spokane and Pocatello during the
night. The British Columbia disturb
ance ha moved eastward to Alberta,
