The Utah depression has moved east
ward and Is now central about Omaha,
Nebraska. It has undergone a marked
development, both In energy and ex
tent, during the last 24 hours and thi
morning overspreads the entire Mis
sissippi valley. The accompanying
rains have, however, so far been mod
erate, and were confined to a narrow
strip extending from southern Utah to
