WEATHER REPORT
The pressure over the Pacific slope
remains practically the same as last
evening -high over the central Califor
nia coast and low over British Colum
bia. General rains have fallen In con
sequence over northern California, west
ern Oregon and westeiai Washington
during the last 12 hours. Rain has also
fallen over eastern Oregon and eastern
Washington, but the amounts so far
have been Inappreciable. Temperatures
over the region lying between the" Cas
cades and Sierras on the west and the
Rocky mountains on the east are decid
edly hlrher than vesterdav mornlnr.
Clear skies prevail over tha southwest,
due to the extensive high area which
overspreads that region. Rainfall was
general over the entire Mississippi val
ley and the southwestern states during
the last 24 hours.
Showers are expected "tonls-ht and
Tuesday over this entire forecast dis
trict. It will nrohahlv he warmer
Tuesday over southwestern Oregon and
western Washington.
