to the United States to work for the
Radnor Hunt club In violation of the
alien labor law. Secretary of Commerce
and Labor Straus has Issued orders for
their deportation. , ...

man or the club, himself an Englishman.
Allen was to be second kennelman and

tiounds used In fox hunting. The atten
tion of the department of commerce and
labor was drawn to the fact, and at a
hearing In Washington it was ruled
that the men were contract laborers
within the meaning of the statute regu
lating the employment of aliens.
A delegation of club members waited
on Secretary Straus last week to show
that the Importation of the men was

Ixiav of Paul Sharp, a sallow faced
touth of 18, a shattered romance of an
lid and a young person was revealed.
- Sharp was charged with having
fobbed Mrs. Catherine Bohanan of 1225,
nd after she had told her story on the
Witness stand the. young man was hold
ar the grand Jury.
Mrs. Bohanan. who coyly admitted
'' that she was "past 86 years old," had
to be assisted to the witness stand.
"I loved him once," she sighed, in con
clusion, "but I do not care for him any
more,"
Sharp put In a neneral denial of the
woman's story, but the magistrate con
sidered it so Treak he held him for the
grand jury .without ball.
