' The high area over tha Oregon coast
la xlowly moving inland and this morn
lnfverlles western Oregon and south
westernWashington. Cloudy skies,
however; -generally prevailed over.tiiese
aectlons thla morning, excepting in
aoutnern uregon, where It was clear.
Cloudy and threatening weather still
continuea east of the mountains, ex
cepting in aouthern Idaho, but the rain
fall was llghfe Rain waa falling at
Spokane this morning at time of re
port Light frosts occurred at Rone
burg and Boise thla morning. The dis
turbance over Utah remains stationary.
It retains its energetic character -and
general ralna have fallen during the last
24 hours over Nevada, Utah and north
ern Ariaona, though the recorded
amounts were generally light. The dis
turbance central over Missouri yester
day morning bad advanced northeast
ward to the upper lakes. General rain
over the Mississippi valley and upper
lake region, with much higher tempera
tures, have attended this movement.
-The Indications point to cloudy weath
er with possibly showers tonight over
this forecast district, excepting in west
ern Oregon, where fair weather with
light frost la expected. Fair and warm
er weather Is probable Wednesday,
