County Clerk - Fields' report for the month of April shows that his office, made a profit of $2,104, compared with a profit of $3,158 In the corresponding period last year. The difference 1 largely accounted for by the election ex pense. The total receipts were $5,444, of which $8,184 was derived from the recording department, $1,267 from the circuit court department and $1,042 from the county court. The expenses aggregated $8,839, including $2,860 for salaries and $778, for supplies.
