over-abundance of carriers, but also a

pany. The cut-up liked the comedy
company and the company liked the
shoes, so that there waa that air of sat
isfaction all around that la so desirable
upon the occasion of operatto premieres.
To put ua in a proper frame of mind
we were given two vaudeville act- aa
eye openers. George II. Whitman and
irinisa imvIi had one. I don't know
what they called it but It did very well
and served ita purpose. 'Then Mile. An

danced. After which "A Scotch High
ball.' 'which was wnat we naa come to
see, began slsxltng and bubbling Just
like a glass of ginger ale. domestic rin
