giren Thursday evening; and was a pro
nounced and . brilliant succesa . Th
danc was given in, . th new Masonic
Tempi and waa largely attended. The
hall ia beautifully adapted to entertain
ing on a larg scale, and It -waa beauti
fully decoratedy Bank of dogwood blos
soms and Scotch broom mingled with
palms to line the corridors. The orches
tral stag waa bidden with palms. Dog
wood lined the galleries and filled the
corners. The drawlng-room In red was
a beautiiui retreat and many spent much
of their time there. An elaborate sup
per was served upatairs In the banquet
hall, and the . tables wer ornamented
with beautiful cut flowers, t There was
muffle In th supper-room, too. -

The bride waa handsomely gowned in
white duchessa satin trimmed . with a
bertha .of rose point. Her tulle veil
was held in place by an aigrette and
lilies of the valley, and her 'bouquet
was a shower of the lilies. Her little sis
ter, Dorothy; was the flower girt, and
wore a white frock and carried a basket
of pink blossoms. ' Miss Ethel Shea

the bride aa bridesmaid. She wore pink
embroidered chiffon and . carried pink
carnations, witn a wreatn or pink roaea
