rv Plans for the new Orient, Lodge, Tem

at the southeast corner of East Sixth
and Alder streets, have been 'completed
by Architect Berndt. They show a radi
cal departure from the .architectural
style usually employed In buildings of
this class. The structure will cover a
SOxlOO-foot lot, and Is to be three
stories high with a full concrete base
ment. Its walls are to be of reenforeed
concrete, and will be given an- unusual
thickness so that other storlesmay be
added. If found desirable. The two
upper stories are to be used for lodge;
purposes and the lower floor will be ar-1
ranged for storerooms. - ? - a.
One of the attractive features of the
structure will be the main lodge room,
50x64 feet, with a JO-foot celling. At,
the rear of the second floor Is to be
located the banquet hall, 60x8 J feet
The building' will cost about - $25,000.
