As the result of a raid made by the
police on December I, at SI Second
atreet, where Chinese gambling games
were supposed to have been In opera
tion, Lee Lane, Hue Sing and Yep Sue,
filed suit In the United States court
yesterday against Chief Grltxmacher,
Captain Bailey, former Inspector Bruin
and eight patrolmen, to recover II!,
SSMQ whloh the plaintiffs claim they
lost as a result of the actions of the
police.
Kee Lane and the two other Cbinase
were doing business under the name
of Bow Wo & Co. r They claim to have
heen coing a general merchandise and
banking business. The eight patrolmen
who are mentioned as being responsible,
