WEATHER REPORT
A small depression is central this
morning over eastern British Columbia,
and another small disturbance is paus
ing to sea down the St. Lawrence val
ley. The barometer is relatively high
off the mouth of the Columbia river and
a high pressure area overlies the gulf
states, and another one of limited area
is central over Lake Superior. This dis
tribution of pressure has caused gener
ally fair weather throughout the coun
try, the only rain noted being showers
In Texas, southern New Mexico, Arkan
sas and extreme northwestern Washing,
ton. A light fall of snow has' occurred
in upper Michigan and In the northern
portion of New England.
The indications are for generally fair
weather in this district tonight and
Tuesday, with light frost tonight, ex
cept near the coast. .
