Washington, April 8. The ship

by the senate and kicked at by
the house went the way of Davy
Jones' locker this morning when
the house committee on ship sub

measure.
This session the fight, that haa
been so vigorously made for months

will be rough eeas for the bill
when it again comes up at the sixty-

The report of the house commit
