Montana Rcdmen's Money

retary. Garfield of being guilty of mal
feasance In office and lying, Mrs. Helen
Pierce Grey, a newspaper woman,
ctlrred the members of 'the senate com
mittee on Indian affaire by making
these and other charges against the gov
ernment service on the Crow Indian
reservation in Montana.
Mrs. Grey, who paid a visit to the
reservation last aummer, made the
charges against Garfield when she waa
called before the committee to substan
tiate statement she had made concern
ing condltiona on the reservation.

that some of It disappeared as the re
sult of grafting methods In the manage
ment of their affairs.
