LARGE SALE FOR
BAUER CONCERT
1 .
There waa a large crowd at the Hetllg
box office this morning when the seat
sale began for th Kreisler-Bauer Joint
recital, which Is to take place there next
Tuesday evening under the direction of
Lois Steers-Wynn Coman. These two
artists are world renowned, not alone
for their genius, but for the sane, manly
atmosphere with which they surround
everything they play.
Some of the German critics have been
lavish In their praises of those two
men, one writing of Bauer that he dis
played much of that great conception
and genius of Rubenstein, and that in
his playing technical certainty in mas
tering difficulties is united with a
fascinating style of expression. While
the same man said of Krelsler that he
plays with great gusto, with crisp and
firm rythm and with breadth and dig
nity. Tho concerto by these two famous
artists will be Tuesday evening next at
the Helllg and seats are now selling.
