The western trough of low pressure
has developed into a disturbance of de
cided character which is central this
morning over southern Utah. A high
inoBBure area is central over csasKatche
wan and another high pressure area
overlies the lower lake region and mid
dle Atlantic states. Rain or snow has
fallen generally throughout Utah, west
ern Colorado and northern Arizona and
light rain has-fallen at scattered places
in California and southern Arisona.
Moderately heavy rain has fallen in the
middle Mississippi valley and local
snows are reported in the Dakotas and
Montana. Unusually low temperatures
provail In the north Pacific states and
heavy frosts occurred this morning in
Oregon, Washington and northern Idaho.
It is much warmer In Kana Nehrnskn
Oklahoma, New Mexico and the Texas
pan nana le.
The indications are for fair and con
tinued cold weather in this district to
night and Thursday.
