Kavanaugh Says His Force

That the city attorney's offlc is a
vary busy place is shown by the annual
report filed by City Attorney John
Kavanaugh, In which he states that he
and his assistants tried 7,500 cases In
the municipal court in 1907 and 14 In the
state court.
Last year, accoraing io in report.
Mr. Kavanaugh. gave 116 formal writ-
tan nniniona to the various departments
and officials of the city government and
prepared 136 otner communications.
Thra are still 23 cases pending In th
state court which pertain to city busi
ness. Mr. Kavanaugh stated that the
