The pressure has risen slightly over
the Washington coast snd fallen over
northern California since this morn
ing. In consequence the depression
noted over the former region on this
morning's weather chart Is not nearly
so pronounced, though the barometric
pressure over the Pacific coast states
continues unusually low. Rains were
general from the Pacific eastward to
tne rtocsy mountains, tnougn mo
amounts as a rule were small. Thero
were no marked changes In temperature
during the last twenty-four hours. In
general, the temperatures were Deiow
the normal west of -the Cascades And
Sierras, while east of the range cf
mountains they were above.
