WEATHER REPORT
- The high area noted over the north
Pacific coast last evening has shifted
slightly to the southward and this
morning overlies the Oregon coast. It
. is developing in energy and Is now of
pronounced character. Fair weather
:; prevails this morning over the entire
. Pacific coast and plateau region except
ing over western Washington, where
light scattered rainfall occurred during
the last 12 hours. A disturbance is cen
tral this morning over northern Manl-
i toba. . Notwithstanding its steep gradl-
; enta, this depression is of very moder
ate character, causing only light scat-
- tared rains over central Canada. An ex
tensive high area overlies the entire
eastern portion of the country and clear
: akles prevail over the southern states.
-Light snow has fallen over the lake re
gion, Ohio valley and New England -during
the last 24 hours, with snow still
falling this morning at Elkins, Buffalo
, and Scranton.
' The Indications point to occasional
1 rain tonight over western Washington
and cloudy weather over northwestern
. Oregon, while fair weather Is probable
Tuesday. Over the remainder of the
. district fair weather- is expected both
tonight and Tuesday.
