out onto the platform. They were all
member of the Capital City lodge, No.
838. B. P. O. E.. and had Just arrived
from Salem.
There was a delegation of Portland
Elks to meet them. And a band. Then
there was a march to the home of-the
Elks In Portland. Soon afterward the
doing began. The Salem band of Elks
brought with .thorn talent and refresh
ment and a world of good humor. All
they needed to pull off the program was
a hall and ome one to enjoy the fun.
