WEATHER REPORT
The Arizona disturbance has merged
with the one over Alberta and they now
form a trough of low pressure which
extends from New Mexico north through
1 Colorado and thence northeastward to
the Dakotas. A new disturbance has
appeared over British Columbia and a
new high pressure area is central off
the California coast. The eastern high
pressure area has contracted in area and
;us crest now overlies the middle At
lantic states. Light rain has fallen in
western Oregon and western Washing
ton, and heavy snow has occurred in
northern Utah. Moderately heavy rain
' has fallen in southern Arizona ' and
southern New Mexico, while in Califor
. nla the weather is clearing. Over the
greater part of the United States the
temperatures are above normal and it
is much warmer than usual in the Mis
souri and upper Mississippi valleys.
The. indications are for rain tonight
, and Wednesday in western Oregon and
- western .Washington, and for rain or
now,in eastern Washington and north
; ern Idaho.- Fair weather is indicated
